The new Fiam air tube nut wrenches are the best solution for resolving all assembly situations where access to tightening areas is difficult and encumbrance strongly limits the use of normal nutrunners. Particularly they are necessary in all situations where there are pressurised circuits or components with piping for the circulation of fluids with corresponding locking nuts to be screwed, for example gas cooker pipes, refrigerator compressors, fixing of car brake pipes, boiler pipes, etc.
The nutrunners come complete with the latest generation heads, available in two sizes and characterized by high resistance and wear over time. These new heads adapt to many assembly solutions; indeed, in the end section, there is a radial opening, allowing the tube to pass inside the hexagonal socket, so as to have access to the nut for tightening. The nutrunners, ideal for a torque range up to 17 NM, are equipped with new high performances motor which, besides reducing compressed air consumption, allows optimal performances even with low supply air pressure. The torque tightening control system is the JointMaster 2 type and guarantees the automatic and immediate air shut off. Furthermore these new nutrunners are equipped with a long and ergonomic anti-slip lever, to allow easier and more comfortable grip by the operator almost along the entire length of the tool. On request, the same heads can be designed with different end gear geometries. For further information, contact Fiam Technical Assistance Service.
