An exclusive design has recently been made to Fiam’s screw holding heads: it’s a new device that prevents the screws with very small dimensions to capsize the moment they are introduced into head sub-assembly assuring to the same screws the correct positioning for tightening phase. This device is particularly useful when the screws have a very short shank; the risk is that the screws can repeatedly capsize in the space where the feeder hose enters in head sub-assembly. This inconvenient causes jams of the system and consequently work-cycle stop. Thanks to the new Fiam device, the ratio between the overall length of the screw and the diameter of the screw head can be between 1,5 and 1,25 mm. New head sub-assembly for holding screws are available in 3 versions: small, large and maxi for screws range with diameter from 4,4 to 14 mm.
