Last 13th-14th September 2004 ICIM (an Italian agency that certificates the quality management systems) carried out an inspection visit to check, together for the first time, Fiam Quality and Environment Management Systems. The visit had two aims: to check the compliance with ISO 9001 standard of the Quality Management System, as it usually happens every year and to verify the maintenance and the improvement of the Environment Management System in compliance with ISO 14001 for the renewal of the certificate. The inspection visit has given a positive result and Fiam has received different essential remarks for its improvement. So Fiam will still commit itself both to reach a higher satisfaction of the external and internal customers and to continue its serious and consolidated engagement for the safeguard of the environment.
