Fiam has always been focusing on research and development of innovative high-performing solutions. This is further proved by the latest result achieved by the Autovite Department designers, constantly committed to innovating components used in automatic assembly solutions; they designed a new component of basic importance to increase speed and versatility of automatic machines. It's the high-speed screw selector with two-way exit (for 4.5 - 14 mm screw heads), which is being positioned at the outlet of the duct next to the screw feeding bowl. This component is used to separate individually screws coming from the feeder and send them in either one of two-way exit. A particularly interesting feature of this component is the possibility of feeding independently on either one of the two-way exit several different screws at a time, one after the other: this practical feature is used to feed the machine in a different way, availing of different quantity of screws in the two different feeding ways. The capacity rate is high: a total of 120 medium-sized screws per minute. The screw selector is equipped complete with magnetic cylinders, limit switch position sensors and 4 air connections with air flow control. For greater logistic versatility, it is equipped with a support column and relative bracket for positioning at various heights.
