Fiam's commitment towards the customer never stops at simply providing the best solution "technologically" speaking. In fact, every company knows how essential it is to optimize the use and service life of products purchased and, consequently, the returns on investments made. That makes the role of training strategic, which is why Fiam organizes training-refresher seminars and specific courses on tightening, drilling, grinding and sanding techniques for its national customers and international distributors. However, one of the fundamental aspects of the production process is without a doubt the maintenance stage: Fiam offers a special 2-day maintenance course tailored to operators in these departments, entirely free of charge. This course, fine-tuned each time based on the specific features of the Fiam products mostly used in the customer's company, is an important opportunity for increasing the company's professionalism and providing a qualified repair service. The effectiveness of this training experience was recently "put to the test" by our Dutch distributor Martan, who was able to bring his staff up to date on the maintenance of his whole fleet of tools. For the duration of the course, Martan received the support of our AM Federico Roma, our lead engineer Paolo Garbossa and our sales department assistant Nadia Moscon. This course, like all the repairer courses, was held at Fiam's HQ in the maintenance area - an area featuring all the equipment required for optimum training and for repairers to perform their daily work well. Furthermore, at the end of each course, Fiam issues an attendance certificate and a booklet for keeping a record of all the courses the customers/maintenance personnel have attended at Fiam: an important document that attests to the progress of their skills in the field of repair and maintenance activities.
