Innovative automatic solutions for tightening process

Following the recent engineering of the high-speed screw selector with two-way exit (Fiam-zine February 2005), the Fiam designers have now come up with a new important component to join the Fiam world. It's an innovative solution, essential when dealing with an automatic machine/system featuring a number of tightening points and wanting to increase production speed whilst assuring the utmost efficiency. This new component, placed immediately under the 2-outfeeds screw selector, can feed a machine/system comprising a number of tightening points with different sequences: it actually allows you to divide up the screws (with head diameters ranging from 4.3 to 13.5 mm) coming from the actual unit, distributing them through the 3-4 outfeeds. The component is supplied complete with 1 magnetic cylinder with limit position detection sensors and 2 air connections with flow regulator. A high-performance solution assuring a rather high rate: a total of 120 screws a minute based on screws of average size.

For more information on the features of this new component and its exceptional value for money, you can contact the Fiam Technical Assistance Service direct.
