New "one-way" and "two-way" screw feeding unit: ideal for assembly machine manufacturers

These new systems designed, produced and tested at Fiam are particularly suitable for manufacturers of assembly machines and automatic assembly lines as they can be easily integrated with their construction layout.

These feeding units comprise:

• ø150mm vibrating base
• ø250mm aluminium bowl
• electronic control unit, with box, for vibrator
• optical fibre for "overflow" warning, complete with amplifier
• one/two-way screw selector with pneumatic cylinders complete with limit switches and fittings with flow regulator
• screw passage toroidal sensors
• base plate on which all the components listed above are bracket mounted

Where specifically requested, these systems come in a three-, four- and eight-way outfeed version.
They also prove easy to integrate within the machines' construction layout, since they do not feature any special safety guards or casings.
