The company opts for Fiam training and optimises production
The “training courses” organised by Fiam, and held on the premises of some very important companies, are still enjoying immense success. After the recent training courses at Immergas, today Fiam takes its courses to Baxi S.p.A., a Baxi Group company, leader in Europe in the heating and domestic comfort sector. The creation of this new important synergy between Fiam and Baxi has made both companies aware of the importance of knowing more about having a "safety conscience” at work. An ethical concept in which Fiam has been investing for some time and which today Baxi sees translated into solid advantages: reduced accident risks and less health risks, greater satisfaction of the workers and maximum economic yield of all the resources involved. Dedicated mostly to workplace designers, the course took two days: the first dealt with a close examination of the aspects of ergonomically designing and managing a workplace; the second was aimed at literally “touching” the advantages of correct ergonomics by way of practical examples on the assembly lines themselves. Surveys at the workplaces were also carried out on the lines applying the well known Ocra method which allows an analysis and the prevention of risks from repeated movements. All participants voiced their appreciation defining the teaching method as “effective”, the technical aspects dealt with as “thorough” and the educational material supplied as “highly explanatory”.
The results attained gave the answer to this necessity, confirming that safety significantly contributes in optimising company production processes.
