AF: Fiam’s innovation is already reaping rewards |
 |
Available from last month, the brand-new AF flat open head air angle nutrunners are a big hit even before they get to the market, being hailed a success during assembly line testing.
They are vital in the assembly of circuits under pressure, i.e. to tighten components that feature pipes for carrying fluids secured with nuts - the innovative AF units were put through their paces at Tecnogas and compared in terms of operation with other nutrunners used previously. The test proved particularly important because Tecnogas is one of the leading Italian manufacturers of gas cookers and hobs (and other household appliances) who has always placed great emphasis on improving the quality of its products and processes. The words of the Tecnogas engineers bear testimony to the success of Fiam's AF units: "Extreme reliability, long life of the heads, great accuracy: three qualities that the AF angle nutrunners have demonstrated concretely on our production lines, reaching every tightening point effortlessly". The are designed to meet all assembly needs in situations where awkward tightening points are an issue, and where obstructions restrict the use of normal nutrunners considerably, these solutions, which feature the latest concept in heads, suit a whole host of different assembly situations: their radial opening actually means the hose can be run through the hex socket, thus making it easy to reach the nut. Moreover, the latest-generation construction specifications, which have been fine-tuned working closely with customers using the equipment, allow these innovative nutrunners to offer extreme reliability and unbeatable long life. The AF air nutrunners with flat open heads were the winning topic that was to consolidate the business partnership between Tecnogas and Fiam, two companies that have always worked in quality and for quality.
