Fiam was officially introduced to the Indian market at the last IMTEX 2007 fair (Bangalore, 18-24 January - http://www.imtex.in), one of the most important international machine tool exhibitions.
It was our local dealer, IEC/APT, who represented us, who presented all the Fiam tightening solutions and, in particular, ‘advanced solutions’ like the AF air angle nutrunners with flat head drive and the semi automatic NCA tightening system, products that stirred up considerable interest amongst the visitors since they were really something new compared to what the Indian market has to offer. A truly big market with great prospects for development and which represents a great promise for the future.
And it is here, on this market, where there is obviously a need for technological and qualitative development in terms of production, reliability and ergonomics, that Fiam’s contribution is fundamental, offering its expertise for advanced, innovative and highly reliable solutions.
Collaboration with IEC/APT is also important, a well organised company on the Indian market that has gained specific experience over many years in the assembly sector. Experience that is more than proven by the profitable outcome at the IMTEX 2007, where it had numerous contacts, visits to potential users and numerous equipment supplies.
